Hello All;

We can release SAP Transport Requests manually by copying the Transport Request on the OS level:

The normal scenario happens when you release your request on the development system, and then import it to the quality, and to the production systems. The import procedure happens via SAP STMS, but in some few cases you would need to do this scenario manually on the OS level.

1) In your system where your transport request exists go to the directory /usr/sap/trans/data& /usr/sap/trans/cofile

2) copy the files relevant to your transport request in both directories. In this example the transport request ID is 905209.

3) On your quality system or on the system which you need to import this transport request to paste both files  under /usr/sap/trans/data& /usr/sap/trans/cofile.

4) Go to STMS to the import queue of your quality system, or to the system where you want to import the transport request to, and on the menu bar click on extra --> other requests --> Add

5) You will be asked to add the transport request

6) You will find your transport request. choose it, and click on ok
